With 50% chance of rain and possible thunderstorms, the prudent thing to do is cancel. 9 cancelled out of 10 with a light shower on the 10^th, seems someone has it out for us.

With a 90% chance of rain and scattered thunderstorms, do we even have to say it?

Finally we got a regatta in! Not the best of conditions including a few periods of light sprinkles, some challenging wind shifts, few serious knock down gusts and several youths fishing on our course from the dock ( Ask Greg- he was “caught” just before the finish line holding first at the time) but the six skippers endured through 12 races ( Except Rick Laird who arrived after three had been completed). Results below:

Seems Mother Nature Is Cooperating

Tomorrow we race! EC12s will be racing tomorrow. This is the first time we get to race, let’s make it a good one. The weather looks chilly, cloudy, with a shower possible early, so bring a jacket. Racing starts at 12 pm with a break after 6 races.

OK, for the 6^th week in a row, I am announcing the cancellation of the V36 racing tomorrow. There is a 70-80% chance of rain and thunderstorms, and again, no one’s life is worth a boat race. I am sorry and looking into a witch or shaman to cast a nice weather spell on our club. P.S. We do get together on Wednesdays and race sometimes, if you are interested, email me and we can meet at the pond, and I will let others know so we can race/sail this year. crimsonpirate78@yahoo.com

Here is a surprise for everyone: Rain tomorrow, and for the 6th week, I have to cancel the Star 45 regatta for 5-10-25. Are we ever going to get to sail in Nashua this season? Did we upset Mother Nature? Maybe next week. Soggy wave from Nashua.
