Well… the weather was nice. Winds a bit lower than forecast but acceptable. Unfortunately the gremlins were working overtime. Herb couldn’t get his boat’s electronics working until well after the first race was completed, Rick G burned out his sail servo before the first race, and Rick L experienced rudder linkage problems during the first race which sidelined him for the rest of the afternoon. Cliff’s boat worked flawlessly the whole time by the way. We sat on the shore watching Chris sail his DF95 after the first race while Herb continued to troubleshoot for most of an hour until he got it working. At that point Herb and Cliff completed 3 more races before calling it quits.
