Cliff wins our EC12 regatta under very nice skies with somewhat spotty, fairly light wind conditions. Interestingly, several places were determined within a foot of the finish line, leading to good racing. Under threatening skies and good ( usually) winds, 4 skippers competed today. 12 races were completed (2 throwouts) and when results were revealed Cliff totaled 10 points for the convincing win.

With very light and at times non-existent breeze, the racing started.  After a dead boat retrieval just before the first race, racing commenced 20 minutes late.  The breeze just got worse with the first 2 races taking 30 minutes each, including 2 boats stuck together, then the next 4 pushed us until 2:20.  After theContinue reading “Cliff wins V36”
