Well, the last race of the season. At least it didn’t downpour although it did threaten throughout our time window. Light winds with a myriad of dead spots- not ideal but adequate. Interestingly only Herb and Cliff sailed boats they’d sailed for years, the rest much shorter. John finished his the night before at about 10PM, Chris received his from Alain that day, Chuck, a new face coming from Guilford, received his from Rick that day, I believe this was Alain’s boat’s first regatta, and Rick’s boat’s second. Due to the light winds, the course was just out to the first mark and back but proved challenging none the less. Herb showed everyone how it’s done with Cliff taking second. Chris, sailing a new to him Pool Shark came in third. Trophies were awarded to third place.
