Amazingly we saw the sun! We were greeted with light, finicky breezes coming out of the west ( the worst direction for Sandy Pond “swirlies”), weeds were, unfortunately, abundant, and dead spots abundant. This regatta should be called ” The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly”. The Good: NO RAIN!!!. With 50% chance of rain and possible thunderstorms, the prudent thing to do is cancel. 9 cancelled out of 10 with a light shower on the 10th, seems someone has it out for us.

Seems Mother Nature Is Cooperating Tomorrow we race! EC12s will be racing tomorrow. This is the first time we get to race, let’s make it a good one. The weather looks chilly, cloudy, with a shower possible early, so bring a jacket. Racing starts at 12 pm with a break after 6 races.
