Another good weather day! The breeze, although rather light, were fairly consistent for Sandy Pond without the usual “swirlies” because the breezes were generally form the East for a change. Racing got off to a very slow start because just before the first start Alain’s rudder servo died. He quickly replaced it using one of Chris’s spares only to find that one was DOA also. Alain sat out the first two races during which Jerry remembered he had one in his car and Alain finally got in on the action in the third race. On the course there were a number of weed calls and boats in the thick weeds along the shore having to be retrieved so racing was called at 3:00 with only nine races being completed. Noted that there were numerous position changes throughout the day.
