Herb Takes EC12

t was a very hot and humid day with very unstable winds with shift from east to southwest then back again for most of the day. With a great tacking leg to start the races the first mark (and furthest out mark) seemed to separate the boats with the #10 and 549 boats missing the first mark almost every time it gave the 90 and 82 a chance to slip away and battle for the win with the 82 coming out on top of the tie with 1 extra win. Jim L started the regatta skippering the #58 boat but half way gave the controls to Cliff M for a stunning 3rd place for the 58 boat. leaving the 10 (Rick L) and 549 (Rick G) to fight for 4th which Rick L (#10) took when Rick G’s rudder gave out and he retired early.
